First Blog Post...All About Planners!!!

Hi there! This blog will mainly be about my planners, handmade cards and any other crafty things I might make in the future. Right now, I am using a MAMBI Happy Planner for my weekly planning and a Day Designer (by Blue Sky for Target) for my daily planning. I have been through a lot of trial and error to get to these planners though! I started Bullet Journaling (check out bulletjournal.com for more info) a year and a half ago. I just used a journal that I made with kraft cardstock and graph paper and it worked great for my Bullet Journal! I really grew to love this system. Later, I learned about the Midori Traveler's Notebook and just had to have one for myself. I decided to do a DIY TN with a piece of tooling leather from Hobby Lobby and it turned out much better than I thought it would (pictured below)! Then I found out about the Erin Condren craze and had to try one of those. I really loved it, but then I found out about Inkwell Press planners, so of course I had to try one of those too. I loved the quality and design of the IWP, but it was too big and heavy for me. Oh boy. The struggle is REAL...lol! Also, somewhere in between there I also purchased a Foxydori (traveler's notebook) that I fell in love with and mainly use for notes now. When I first purchased it, I put DIYfish inserts in it and did my bullet journaling on those for a while. I even made some of my own inserts that I really liked, but I got tired of printing and cutting out inserts every month! So, for my daily planning I am enjoying my little Day Designer at the moment. I have customized the pages a little to fit my needs and this works well for me!

So, now I am left with The Happy Planner (a disc system that allows me to add in and take out pages easily...which really does make me "happy") and the the smaller daily Day Designer for my "go-to" planners. What planner/planners do you use? Have you been through 5 or more planners like I have? I know I'm not alone. I hear about lots of ladies in the planner community changing planners often. We are looking for planner peace...and we won't stop until we find it!!! :) I think I have come very close to planner peace, but you never know when I might get the itch to try a different planner. ;)
